STARS - Substitute Training and Recruiting Services' Application

Cheektowaga Central, Lockport City, Niagara Falls City, and Sweet Home Central school districts are hiring for the following substitute positions: teachers, teaching assistants, teacher aides, nurses, food service, transportation, clerical and custodial staff.

The salary ranges from $15.50/hr to $28/hr, depending on the school district and position.

If you are not already fingerprinted, you will be required to complete fingerprinting at your own expense. Please note that each district has its own process for interviewing, onboarding, and approving substitutes through their Board of Education.

This journey should be pursued only by individuals who are committed to completing the process and who intend to work regularly as a substitute.
